A Typical Day In Transitional Kindergarten

A Typical Day In Transitional Kindergarten

In our transitional kindergarten, curiosity and confidence grow hand in hand. Each day begins with a lively morning meeting where we build connections and set a positive tone. From there, children explore in a nurturing environment that encourages discovery.

Our curriculum blends hands-on, center based learning with flexible group instruction. Children work one-on-one or in small groups with teachers, developing early literacy and math skills. These skills are reinforced in classroom centers where academics are sprinkled into play, making learning feel natural and engaging.

Throughout the week, children enjoy exciting specialty classes, including music, art, STEM, Spanish, and physical education.  Science, cooking, and gardening are also integrated into the weekly curriculum.

Through these experiences, children develop the skills, confidence, and a strong learning foundation needed for a successful transition to kindergarten.

We offer a fun and engaging after-school enrichment from 4:00–5:30 PM! Our program features alternating classes including Dramagination, ZULU Dance, Mad Science, Sports, Cooking, Music & Movement, and Sensory Play. Drop-ins welcome when needed, flexible and fun for every schedule!
